The Friends of Disabled Adults and Children recently raised more than $25,000 to help it provide home medical equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers for those in need.

The Run Walk n Roll race at Stone Mountain is designed to draw money and attention to the group that distributes more than 5,000 items each year in Georgia and elsewhere.
