Proposed State History Museum sits vacant
Six years ago, the state paid $1.1 million for the old World of Coca-Cola building downtown and talked of turning it into Georgia’s premier history museum. Today, the building is still the old World of Coke, empty and sweltering, a museum of air and dust.
