The office of Rockdale County Probate Judge Charles. K. Mays is hosting a mental health summit 9 a.m. Dec. 13 at the Rockdale Career Academy, 1064 Culpepper Drive, Conyers. The goal is to answer questions about mental illness and how to find resources for help.

The event will provide information for caretakers on topics such as medical care and treatment, post traumatic stress disorder, lay affidavits, legal awareness, proper diagnosis, support for families, housing and personal care homes.

The event is free and open to the public.
