Atlanta Street from the Powder Springs Library, Old Austell Road, Marietta Street and Pineview Drive will be among the major roads closed noon to 8 p.m. Saturday for the Powder Springs Christmas Parade at 5 p.m. and Christmas Tree Lighting at 7 p.m. on the Historic Town Square, 4488 Pineview Drive.
Barricades will be placed by the city’s police at noon for Town Square and 2:30 p.m. for the parade.
Free parking locations include Old Austell Road at Atlanta Street, Old Austell Road at Marietta Street and Lewis Road at Atlanta Street.
Town Square activities will begin at 6 p.m.
