James Anthony S. Williams remains a "strong person of interest" Saturday in shooting death of a woman in a Riverdale Road apartment, Clayton County police said.
The woman, who had been shot multiple times, was found in a Lake Regency Apartment around 4 p.m., according to Lt. Tina Daniel with Clayton police.
Her name still was not released Saturday. Police are still trying to notify her next of kin.
Police identified Williams as a "strong person of interest," Daniel said Friday night. Williams, who turns 30 years old on Monday, is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
Williams is 6-feet-5 inches tall and weighs approximately 280 pounds, Daniel said. He was last seen driving a 1988 blue GMC truck with a silver toolbox in the back. The truck's tag number is BKM 7415.
Anyone with information about Williams' whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
