Gwinnett County police are seeking the public's help in identifying a robber who targeted the Bank of America at 1014 Old Peachtree Road in Lawrenceville last month.

A man entered the branch at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 and handed a note to the teller demanding money. He also told the teller he was watching her hands, said Gwinnett police spokesman Officer Brian Kelly. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as a clean-shaven white male around 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 230 and 240 pounds, with blonde or light-colored hair.  At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing gold-rimmed glasses, an ivory-colored NASCAR "Dale Earnhardt" baseball cap, a wedding band, a blue polo shirt and khaki pants.

Anyone with information concerning the identity or whereabouts of the robber is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Division of the Gwinnett County Police Department at 770-513-5300, or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS. Anonymous tips are welcome and could lead to a monetary reward of up to $2,000.
