Police: Man tried to entice child for indecent purposes at mall

Dunwoody police are looking for a man who allegedly attempted to entice a child for indecent purposes earlier this month at Perimeter Mall.

According to Dunwoody police Sgt. Mike Carlson, a 15-year-old boy was in a restroom at the mall around 7 p.m. on Nov. 12 when he was approached by the suspect.

“The suspect displayed a wad of cash to the victim, and asked him for sexual favors,” Carlson said in an e-mail. “The victim fled the scene and reported the incident to security.”

Police are looking for a bald male in his late 30s or early 40s, about 6 feet tall and weighing around 200 pounds. The suspect was wearing a “puffy” jacket and black dress pants on the night of the alleged incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Dunwoody police at 678-382-6911.
