Police are investigating the shooting death of a northwest Atlanta man early Friday afternoon.
Around noon, police responded to a report of shots fired at a boarding house in the 800 block of North Avenue.
“A male inside the dwelling was shot multiple times and was dead on the scene,” police homicide unit commander Lt. Paul Guerrucci told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Investigators have not identified a suspect, Guerrucci said, and there were no witnesses.
The victim, has not been identified as authorities tried to contact his next of kin.
