A Pizza Hut driver was shot early Tuesday morning while making a delivery near Decatur.

The driver was wounded around 12:45 a.m. near a residence on Tarragon Drive when two armed men approached and shot him, police said.

Antonio Catlin, a DeKalb County police spokesman, said the victim was able to drive back to his restaurant, at 4985 Flat Shoals Rd., and was taken from there to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Catlin said no other details were available because police haven't obtained an official statement from the victim. The investigation is continuing.
