Welcome to Rest Haven, a town that has been trying to dissolve itself since 2001. The city sits for a mile along Ga. 13 and straddles the border between Gwinnett and Hall counties. The city is home to about 22 residents and a few auto repair shops, small businesses and vacant lots. In 2016, the city of Buford annexed half of Rest Haven, and the city's borders are no longer marked by road signs. This photo is from 1990. (STEVE DEAL / AJC file)
