Pet products retailer launches dog park funding contest

April 18, 2011To provide pet-friendly places in local communities, PetSafe, a pet products company, is sponsoring a nationwide contest where a city or town will be awarded $100,000 to build a local dog park.
“Dog parks not only offer pet parents spots for outdoor pet recreation and expand green park space, they also strengthen the sense of community among local pet owners,” said Randy Boyd, president and CEO of PetSafe.
