Pedestrian struck trying to cross East Point street
A man was badly hurt when he was struck by a vehicle in East Point overnight.
The incident happened just before midnight Wednesday on Washington Road near Lakemont Drive.
Channel 2 Action News reported that the man had apparently just gotten off a MARTA bus when he walked out into traffic.
The driver who struck the man stopped.
The man was hospitalized with serious injuries, according to Channel 2.
