The Peachtree Corners City Council began on June 16 the process of reviewing a possible change to the city’s alcoholic beverages ordinance to allow for beer tastings. The revised ordinance would allow malt beverage tastings at stores and restaurants with a malt beverage license. It further outlines the size of beverage samples will be limited to four ounces and prohibit customers from sampling more than 16 ounces in a two-hour period. Servers will be required to obtain a pouring permit from the county.

The city council will hold a public hearing on the revised ordinance at 7 p.m. July 21 at City Hall, 147 Technology Parkway in Peachtree Corners.
