Repairs and upgrades are on the spring schedule for Peachtree City’s Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater, also known as “The Fred.” Built in 1976 and renovated in 1989 after a fire, the 1,600-seat facility will get updated restrooms and new flooring in March before the first concert of the season in April. City Manager Jon Rorie said $226,470 of funds from the 2014 facilities bond will be spent over two years to also replace siding, roofing, awnings and fencing.

More construction will be done from mid-April until mid-May before the summer concert series begins.
