Addressing complaints that have “gone on for years” regarding service and conduct at the Peachtree City post office, Mayor Vanessa Fleisch and other city representatives met with three local U.S. Postal Service managers on Sept. 7 to help resolve specific issues.

The meeting was also attended by staff members of U.S. Rep. Drew Ferguson and U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson. Fleisch said Postmaster Leta George committed to ensuring daily mail delivery by 6 p.m., timely responses to delivery problems and better maintenance of the building, including keeping the U.S. flag in good repair.
