Palestinian author talks about loss of family, hope and peace

Feb 16, 2011Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish, author of "I Shall Not Hate: A Gaza Doctor's Journey on the Road to Peace and Human Dignity, will speak and sign copies of his book in Atlanta.
Abuelaish, who lost three daughters and a niece, when an Israeli tank shell was fired into his home, has spoken out about forgiveness and peace. The Palestinian doctor and infertility specialist writes about the hardships and hope in the Gaza Strip.
He will speak at the Georgia Center for the Book at 7 p.m. Thursday. He will speak at First Baptist Church Decatur, 308 Clairmont Ave.
