Students and teachers returned to class Monday at Atlanta's Paideia School in the wake of an intense blaze that struck their Druid Hills campus on Friday night.

Flowers were left at the steps of the burned building on Monday morning. Known as the Mother Goose building, it dated to the 1920s.

Paul Bianchi, headmaster of the private Paideia School, addresses students during a Monday morning assembly. The fire is believed to be arson and several people are being questioned. Bianchi called the crime senseless.
