More than $125,000 was raised to fight ovarian cancer at the "Second Shaken, Not Stirred Gala", presented by Northside Hospital.

The money was raised to support the efforts of the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance to fight the disease.

According to the American Cancer Society, more than 22,000 cases of ovarian cancer will be diagnosed nationwide this year. Of those, between 600 and 650 will be  in Georgia.
