One dead, 3 injured after crash on I-20 near Panola Road
One person is dead and three were injured following a wreck involving four cars on Interstate 20 in DeKalb County, according to Channel 2 Action News and the Georgia Department of Transportation.
G-DOT told the AJC that the accident happened around 5 a.m. on I-20 eastbound near Panola Road. Details were sketchy, but authorities said one car crashed, and was hit by a second car, flipping both. Authorities didn't release details on the other two cars involved.
Two people were ejected during the crash; one of them died, according to Channel 2. Three people were taken to the hospital following the wreck, G-DOT told the AJC.
