BJ's/Northland Juice aid breast cancer research

Breast cancer research is getting a financial boost.

BJ's Wholesale Club and Northland Juices have made a $36,000 donation to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation  help increase awareness of the disease and to further research.  Breast cancer is the leading cancer killer of women.

The celebrate, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, the  BJ's store at 331 Newnan Crossing Bypass in Newnan will be decorated in pink and employees will wear pink T-shirts. Customers will receive free refreshments and snacks.  There will also be support groups in the store to give information about breast cancer and the importance of screenings.
