A federal grand jury on Thursday indicted a Cornelia woman arrested last month on charges of making explosives.

Celia Alchemy Savage is facing federal charges of making and possessing explosive devices and possessing firearms while being an unlawful drug user.

"Making bombs is serious, and the combination of explosives and drugs creates a situation that law enforcement cannot ignore," U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said, noting that federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, FBI and GBI agents found explosive devices, guns and illegal drugs at Savage's home on May 30.

The search also produced explosive manufacturing materials and literature on anarchy, court officials said.

Federal agents pointed to social networking posts espousing her love of explosives, including a YouTube video showing her blowing something up, and another post claiming one of her favorite quotes to be: "There is no problem that cannot be solved by the use of high explosives."

The indictment charges Savage, 23, with three counts of making and possessing explosive devices and gun possession while using illicit drugs.

She faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 per count.

Savage is scheduled to be arraigned in federal court on July 6.

She is being held by federal authorities without bond.
