As cities from the Perimeter north work to update the North Fulton Comprehensive Transportation Plan, they've scheduled five public meetings in the coming weeks to inform residents about the effort.

Meetings are scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 27 at Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill Street; Sept. 28 at Johns Creek City Hall, 12000 Findley Road; Sept. 29 at Sandy Springs City Hall, 7840 Roswell Road, Building 500; Oct. 5 at Alpharetta City Hall, 2 Park Plaza; and Oct. 11 at Milton City Hall, 13000 Deerfield Parkway, Suite 107.

Anyone who cannot attend can participate by going to the transportation plan website or sending an email with his or her name and mailing address to info@NorthFultonCTP. Also, an online survey will soon be posted to the project website.

The update is necessary, given the economic and development changes that have occurred since the regional plan was last addressed in 2010, officials said.
