Cory Muldrow was sworn in as the new Norcross Postmaster during an installation ceremony Nov. 16. Muldrow, who was appointed to the position on March 17, oversees postal service operations for approximately150 employees who work in two carrier units and one retail station.
“My expectation for the Norcross community is to bring back the trust and confidence in our organization,” Muldrow said. “We want to rebuild unity and cooperation, which will help the community in so many more aspects.”
The 18-year postal veteran and Miami native began his career as a part-time, flexible mail-processing clerk at the North Metro distribution facility in Duluth. In 2004, he transferred to the Norcross Main Post Office as a city letter carrier and eventually served as its acting supervisor. He has postal experience in customer services, delivery and retail.
Prior to this assignment, he was the Manager of the Peachtree Corners station in Norcross.
