The Norcross Mayor and City Council recently voted to amend the city’s two emergency ordinances that were first passed on March 23 and 30. At that time the city extended the date to prevent the termination of electrical service to any Norcross Power customer due to non-payment until May 15.

The new amendment allows Norcross Power customers to request deferment of payment due to financial hardship. Customers with residential or business service within city limits can request to defer payment for the months of March, April, May, and June to be repaid in six equal payments during the months of July through December.
