A new Snellville hotel is expected to open a few days before Christmas, a city spokesman said.
The Hampton Inn and Suites at 1905 Pharrs Road has an anticipated opening date of Dec. 20, a spokeswoman for Hilton Hotels and Resorts said. Hilton is the parent company of Hampton Inn and Suites.

“It does appear that the hotel is tracking for a December 20 opening, but exact dates can always shift a bit,” said Erin Pratt, a Hilton spokeswoman.
The five-story hotel will have 100 guest rooms, a mix of standard guest rooms and one-bedroom suites. Guests will be able to relax by a pool or work out in the hotel’s fitness center.
The hotel is situated near Park Place, the Scenic Highway development that includes a Cracker Barrel, Home Depot, Chipotle and Kroger. The hotel is taking reservations for Jan. 14 and later online, and you can call the hotel at 678-344-9090.
