A Marietta High freshman forced a 14-year-old girl into a school bathroom, threw her onto the floor and repeatedly assaulted her, according to a criminal warrant released Thursday.

The alleged sexual assault occurred at Campbell High School in Smyrna on Feb. 16 between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m during a boys basketball game. Chandler Brookins -- accused of rape, aggravated sexual battery and false imprisonment -- is being charged as an adult. The 15-year-old is the son of Marietta High Associate Principal Ron Brookins.

The unidentified girl told Smyrna police her assailant restrained her in a bear hug position on the floor of the bathroom. With the weight of his body holding her down, the warrant claims, Brookins used one hand to commit the assault, the other to pin her left shoulder. "The victim repeatedly told said accused no and to stop," the warrant, dated March 14, states.

Vic Reynolds, Brookins' attorney, said the accusation is untrue, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Brookins, a member of Marietta High's baseball team, has been released on a $50,000 bond.
