New 'Barbie Bandits'

Two women rob a bank in Decatur.

On Nov. 1, shortly before 3 p.m., two young women entered the Suntrust Bank at 3870 N. Druid Hills Rd. in Decatur.

The women took the money and then departed the bank and the accompanying grocery store quietly. They got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

After approaching the teller counter, the women provided a demand note to the teller. It stated they had a gun.

At that moment, one of the robbers lifted up a flap on her purse to reveal a handgun.
