The city of Mountain Park has updated its policy and procedures regarding monthly utility bills.

If a resident is unable to pay the water bill on time, call City Hall to set up payment arrangements. The only time a person will be denied a payment arrangement is if they’ve previously defaulted an arrangement with Mountain Park.

The city of Mountain Park utility billing department will begin sending out letters to residents who are 30 days past due on their water bill. Upon receipt of this notice, residents will have 15 days to pay the past due amount.

In the event of service disconnect, the entire balance on the customer’s account must be paid in full plus a $50 reconnect fee in order to have service restored. Payments are due on the first of each month to avoid a $25 late fee on the next month’s bill.
