Police have identified a motorcyclist killed early Wednesday in a crash in Johns Creek.

David Kan, 49, was northbound on Jones Bridge and attempting to turn left onto Douglas Road died when a southbound SUV crashed into his motorcycle, Johns Creek police Maj. John Clifton said.

Police were called to the intersection of Jones Bridge Road and Douglas Road about 6:40 a.m., Clifton said.

No charges have been filed and no other details were released.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office is working to determine an official cause of death.
