Lilburn police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a Wednesday afternoon crash on U.S. 29.

Witnesses told authorities that the man, 41-year-old Lawrenceville resident Prakashchandra Bhagat, was "weaving in and out of traffic" and passing cars in the highway's center turn lane when he hit an SUV stopped near Inland Way around 2:20 p.m.

Bhagat was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center but pronounced dead less than half an hour after the crash.

The driver of the SUV was not injured. No charges will be filed, Lilburn police said in a news release.
