Two more teenagers have been arrested in connection with a shooting that followed a high school football scrimmage, police said.

Leander Alexander Smith, 17, and Brad Alexander Louden, 18, face numerous charges related to the Friday night shooting in front of Britt Elementary following the game at South Gwinnett High School, Snellville police Chief Roy Whitehead said.

A 16-year-old, whose name is not being released due to his age, was arrested Saturday, Whitehead said. The District Attorney's Office is hoping to try the juvenile as an adult, he said.

Smith, of Loganville, faces charges for gun possession during a crime, possessing a weapon on school property, aggravated assault and gang participation. A weapon was recovered during the search of his Summit Creek Lane home, Whitehead said.

Louden, also of Loganville, was charged with possession of a weapon on school property and participation in gang activity, Whitehead said. Another weapon was found in his Brushy Wood Drive home, police said.

The investigation into the incident continues, Whitehead said.
