A Hiram woman won $1 million after matching all five numbers in the April 11 Powerball drawing.

Carmen Roberts bought the winning Quik Pik ticket at a Hiram convenience store, Georgia Lottery officials said Wednesday in an emailed statement. But she did not claim her prize until June 16.

It was not immediately clear why it took Roberts more than two months to come forward. Lottery officials did not say.

The winning numbers from the April 11 Powerball drawing were: 1-12-32-42-58, and the Powerball was 12.

Wednesday’s Powerball drawing is an estimated $40 million to a single annuity winner.
