There’s a new Moe’s Southwest Grill in town, and it wants to sell you a $5 burrito today.

At 280 Cobb Parkway, right by Marietta Diner in the Walmart plaza, the massive Mexican fast-casual chain location gave the first 100 people in line a free burrito per week for a year.

But franchisee Shahid Panjwani said at 11:30 a.m. that it’s too late for that. Easily a hundred people were in line when they opened up a half hour earlier.

Panjwani said this is his sixth Moe’s in metro Atlanta, including the Cumberland Mall location.

He said he acquired the Cobb Parkway location last fall.

The eatery will be selling the $5 burritos until they close today at 9 p.m., he said.
