The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta has received a $50,000 matching grant from Grants to Green to reduce the carbon footprint of its  Dunwoody campus.

Improvements include adding motion senors for lighting in the gym, high bay fluorescent lights and a misting system that will collect and utilize rainwater to coll the rooftop HVAC units.

Grants to Green is a partnership between The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta and Southface. The program provides funds and environmentally-focused  information to help nonprofits become more energy, water and environmentally efficient.
