A national development company is in the process of bringing a few Atlanta concepts to fruition — and one of them is in Sandy Springs.

Mill Creek Residential is developing Modera Sandy Springs, a wood-frame building with 340 apartment homes, 25,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and a controlled-access parking garage, according to the website.

It will be located across from City Springs, the new town center and municipal complex that recently won a Community Redevelopment Award,[...] despite still being under construction.

At less than 10 stories, this property will be more modest than the 21-story, mixed-use retail and residential community that Mill Creek is constructing directly beside The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.

The company has already opened Modera Morningside — with rent prices that range from $1,175 to $3,035 — and has plans to open Modera Vinings and Modera Midtown.

Future residents of the Sandy Springs outpost can expect amenities that include a pet spa, a movie theater lawn and an elevated swimming pool.

Apartments will range in size from studios to three-bedroom units, with features such as wood plank-style flooring, quartz counter-tops and large walk-in closets.

Initial move-ins are expected for early 2017.
