Cobb County police are asking for help to find a woman last seen a week ago.

The white Land Rover of Valerie Maynard, 53, was found Sept. 5 in the Pigeon Hill parking lot on Burnt Hickory Road, police said Monday. That lot services the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.

Her SUV was found unlocked, and personal items like her cell phone and purse were still inside.
