April 14, 2011A call Thursday by police in Cobb County for help finding a missing man with Alzheimer's disease was canceled later in the day when he turned up at a Waffle House.
The Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a Mattie’s Call for Russell Clifford Moore, 66, of Marietta after he was seen leaving his home on Easy Circle at 9 a.m.
Police canceled the call in the afternoon after Moore called his wife from a Waffle House in DeKalb County asking for a ride home.
