Milton Avenue in downtown Alpharetta to close temporarily

A section of Milton Avenue in downtown Alpharetta will be closed this weekend for water line work.

The portion between Ga. 9/Main St. and Roswell/Canton Street will be shut down from 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, until noon Sunday, Aug. 16. The shutdown will allow water line connections to be made between a number of private properties and a new Fulton County water main, which will necessitate cutting into the street.
