Midtown Mercedes driver charged with robbing pedestrians

Dec 17, 2009Charges have been filed against a woman who robbed a group of pedestrians by gunpoint in two separate incidents early Wednesday morning while driving a Mercedes.
Royia Rosati, 27, has been charged with three counts of armed robbery, three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of discharging a firearm.
The incidents occurred in Midtown near 12th Street and Piedmont Avenue around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
The victims positively identified Rosati as the one who robbed them, said police. She also admitted to firing her weapon at some point.
No one was injured.
