That day, the Atlanta-based chicken chain is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Day. From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., teachers and other school employees can show a school ID to get a free chicken sandwich at participating metro Atlanta Chick-fil-A restaurants.

Teachers at all schools, public and private, are eligible for the promotion. So are principals, aides and other educators with the required ID

Find your nearest Chick-fil-A location at the restaurant's website.
