Two men were charged in the death of the Carver High graduate who was shot July 14 in Columbus, authorities said.

Alex Antonio Wilson, 18, and Lorenza Davonta Madden, 19, were arrested Tuesday, the Columbus Ledger Enquirer reported.

Columbus is about 100 miles southwest of Atlanta.

The teenagers face reckless conduct charges in connection with the shooting of 18-year-old Richard Cummings Jr. Wilson faces an additional charge of involuntary manslaughter, the newspaper reported.

They are being held in the Muscogee County Jail for a 9 a.m. Thursday hearing in Columbus Recorder’s Court.
