The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted Oct. 2 to approve a resolution awarding the purchase of Pro-QA Medical Software for the Henry County Emergency Management Agency in the amount of $176,670 from Priority Dispatch. EMA Director Don Ash said that the Pro-QA Medical Software will deliver advanced medical information and instructions to 9-1-1 callers who call for medical emergencies. “This [software] will allow us to use national standards to determine which code these users should respond to,” said Deputy County Manager. “This systematic approach will make our citizens and our responders safer.”

The Pro-QA Medical software will be integrated along with the Tyler Technology Public Safety Solutions platform, an updated software system that provides benefits for both employees and citizens. Commissioners approved a resolution for licensing and implementation of the Tyler software in December of 2017.

Funds for the Pro-QA Medical Software are available in the E911 budget.
