Mayor Kasim Reed will be the keynote speaker during the 11th Annual Rev. Joseph E. Lowery Lecture Series on Civic Engagement.
The program will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 5 at the D.M. Therrell School of Law, Government and Public Policy auditorium, 3099 Panther Trail S.W. The event is sponsored by the Atlanta Board of Education and Atlanta Public Schools.
The event is held for APS high school seniors.
