A 32-year-old woman walked away from a Clayton County hospital after giving birth, officials said.

Erica Hall was being held at the Women’s Center at Southern Regional Hospital in Jonesboro for mental health reasons, but left Monday during the involuntary committal process, Clayton County police Chief Michael Register said in a news release.

Mattie's Call was issued for Hall, the release states.

Hall is considered a danger to herself and/or others, Register said.

She is about 5-foot-6, 230 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

When she left the hospital, Hall was wearing a hospital gown, but officials aren’t sure if she had clothes underneath.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective K. Green at 770-477-3659 or 911.
