MARTA’s Georgia State station reopens after water main break

MARTA’s Georgia State rail station has reopened after being shut down early Thursday because of a water main break.

A notice posted on the agency’s website said there was not train service before 5:30 a.m. said there was no train service at the station.

A bus bridge was put into place to ferry riders between the Five Points and King Memorial stations until the station reopened at 6 a.m.
