Marietta school district sets 2015 calendar

Marietta City Schools will begin classes Aug. 5 and end the school year on May 25.

The district’s board of education has approved the 2015-16 calendar to include two teacher work days in September and a four-day mid-winter break in February. The board looked at two calendar options before choosing one recommended by staff, parents and district superintendent Emily Lembeck.
