Keep Marietta Beautiful will soon offer a way for you to securely dispose of sensitive documents around the home.

The organization, along with the city of Marietta, will host a Document Destruction Day from 9 a.m. to noon at Saturday, March 21 at Custer Park.

Marietta’s event is free, but donations will be accepted for Keep Marietta Beautiful. Residents will be allowed to watch as their paper documents are destroyed on-site.

Keep Marietta Beautiful is an organization that works to prevent litter and promotes beautification and community improvement.

If you can’t attend the March Document Destruction Day, Keep Marietta Beautiful plans to host another document shredding day from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 10.

Custer Park is at 545 Kenneth Marcus Way in Marietta. For more information, contact Maggi Moss at 770-794-5609 or mmoss@mariettaga.gov.
