Authorities continue to investigate after two people were fatally shot early Sunday in a home invasion in southeast Atlanta.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office identified the two people killed as Johnnie Jackson, 23, and Alina Schiavo, 24. Both lived at the address where the shooting occurred.

Officers were called to the scene at 900 Conley Road shortly before 3:30 a.m.

Jackson was found shot to death inside an apartment, while Schiavo was found wounded outside the apartment, Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. Greg Lyon said. Schiavo was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she died.

Homicide detectives are investigating. Police said the home invasion does not appear to be random, Channel 2 Action News reported.

No witnesses have been located, Lyon said.
