A man charged with battery, fleeing police and kidnapping has been added to the Atlanta Police Department's "most wanted" list.
Benjamin Saines asked his longtime girlfriend to meet him at a gas station to return some of his clothes, according to a May 13 incident report. He allegedly grabbed her by the hair and punched her head and shoulders before driving her away.
Saines, 41, threatened her life and said he would “die a warrior’s death,” the report said. At a different gas station, the victim refused to get in the car and Saines allegedly forced her in the car and drove away.
A witness called 911.

Cops tried to conduct a traffic stop on the car, but Saines allegedly sped away from police until the car jumped a curb and struck a tree. Police said he got out and jumped a fence that leads to the I-75/85 expressway.
Police canvassed the location but couldn’t find him.
Anyone with information on the case may call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. All callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 if their tip leads to an arrest and indictment.
