Man tries to break up fight at soccer game, has camera stolen

Athens resident Oliver Yatsugafa told police that he was at a soccer game at the YMCA on Hawthorne Avenue in Athens earlier this month when a fight broke out between parents of the opposing teams, according to Hilda Sorrow, spokeswoman for Athens-Clarke County police.
Yatsugafa put his video camera down on his seat "and attempted to help break up the altercation," Sorrow said. "When he returned to his seat, the camera with case, valued at $1,170, had been stolen."
She said the incident happened about 4 p.m. on April 18, but was not reported until Tuesday.
